The Red Line LightWeight ShockProof Gear Oil is a unique lubricant designed to lubricate racing transissions and transaxles which see serious loads not recoended for ost syncro-type transissions. It has an excellent low-teperature flow which allows easier shifting when cold. Contains a suspension of solid icroscopic particles as an extree pressure agent–unique solid dispersion which cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage and allows the use of lower viscosities. Acting like a liquid grease the viscosity characteristics of ShockProof allow the lubricants to resist throw-off and provide the protection of a greater fil thickness with relatively light fluid viscosity offering a “best of both worlds” balance of low drag and superior protection. – Recoendation: ay be used to obtain axiu power transfer in racing differentials which do not see high teperatures. Siilar to a 75W140 gear oil but with the lower internal friction of an SAE 30 otor oil. Used in ost road-racing differentials with oderate power and dog-ring racing transaxles – NOTE: Should not be used with pups filters and with sall lines–these fluids are designed wet sup or splash type lubrication..
