Fills gaps up to .015″ and cures to asolvent-resistant seal that will not tear or decay during service. Parts disasseble easily even after extended service.Old gasket aterial can be reoved in inutes with a siple putty knife. To ake a Gasket: Clean both flange surfaces. Reove paint dirt grease or old gasket copletely. Spray Peratex Surface Prep??? activator on one surface only. Allow to dry 1-2 inutes. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the unpried surface. Asseble ating surfaces with inial lateral oveent.Excess sealant can be wiped awaywith a cloth and shop solvent. To Dress a Gasket: Clean both flange surfaces. Reove paint dirt grease or old gasket copletely. Spray Peratex Surface Prep??? activator to both flange surfaces. Allow to dry 1-2 inutes.
